I went with the cheapest available parts because I wasn't sure if I'm really going to get into this another addicting episode of my RC life.

    HERE ARE MY SET UP:

    MOTORS: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/stor ... oduct=5354

ESC: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/stor ... A_ESC.html *make sure to do the yaw pot esc calibration so they all sync on start up.

QUADBOARD: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/stor ... oard_.html *grab the version2 if you can it should be alot better. :D

FRAME: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/stor ... me_V1.html *not too sturdy be carefull when you land. ;)

You're welcome! it's pretty fun flying around at night when it's calm. Whats cool is that these quad are quite for 4 motor craft.

    CHEERS!

Any reason why a quad and not a tri? I put a lot into the pros and cons of each and went tri. Just wondering what your primary factors were in your choice.

The HK board was just given to me :D to try out! BUT.......I have a tri on my table from quadframe waiting on motors and escs. :D it's ADDICTING!

I did like the + config for night flight, it's better for orientation I think. I added straw cannons and more nav lights it looks so cool in the air. Cant wait for my tri electros to come in.

    HERE'S MY LATEST NIGHT FLIGHT!

I will keep the + quad for night flying. Attached files [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]
