First of all I am so happy to have found this forum. I enjoy building and flying really unique items. I just ordered the Flying Surfer Dude and can't wait to put it together.

Yesterday we were flying on the beach at Long Beach, ca.

I was flying a little flatty jet i bought at the Ontario AMA show.

This little guy flys so incredible....slow, fast....unlimited verticle on one of those dinky little suppo 2204's and a 3 cell 500 mah battery.

    I also fly a Leadfeather Yak 55.

Here is a link to the video from yesterday. for some reason the youtube button doesn't seem to work....here is the link...just paste it in.

Looking forward to building lots o kewl stuff!

    Welcome to the forum!
I fixed your vid issue. In this forum all you have to do to embed the vid is press the youtube icon in the advance menu and paste the youtube link in the middle of them.

Nice video! That plane looks like it does well with that power setup.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. I find that I have come full circle on the rc planes.

First I liked all those shiny painted models at my lhs, but one little crash and they disentigrate or the little plastic parts brake and there is no easy fix.

But with the hand built flatties....I can be a lot more creative and since I built it....I understand how it goes together and can easily repair ANYTHING.

A friend built a few of those Leadfeather Yak 55's and put them in the local hobby store....where no one would buy them.....cause they just don't look that slick...handmade and all.....but it flies better than anything in that store! And one could learn a lot more from those then buying a parkmaster plug n play job.

Can't wait to get my hot little hands on the Surfer Dude (hold it that doesn't sound quite right), can't wait to build the Surfer Dude!

    Good Flying

    Herb
