jrbynum, Congratulations on getting your machine together, it looks good!
One question: What is that white "box" sitting atop the PP in the last photo?

I think That white Box is the Dice that he cut out.

Your PP looks Great. What kind of Speeds are you getting off the Get go? I like the Switch box. I did the same then converted it to a Relay so I can controll them from the Mach 3 Screen. It is nice to be able to turn some things off while others are still on.

    Cheers

Yes, the white box is the assembled dice cutout. I wanted to cut something that did circles to check the stability and registration of the y and z axis... I went with the penny mod and it works well. I am getting 14 ipm with the y-axis, 25 with the z -axis, the x axis is 40 plus. I have the x and y set to 14 and the z set to 20. I am not to worried about speed right now, but being somewhat impatient I will be modifying and tunning for speed improvement... probably use the Y axis belt mod... also the wife has discoverd that we can cut out pretty flowers and such from Walmart muti colored foam and she can make projects to keep the kids busy...

Oh! Now that I know it's a die, I can see it immediately. [nearsighted squinting smiley here]

Careful! Pretty flowers aren't all you can do. If you haven't gotten one of those "Deluxe" airbrush kits from Harbor Freight yet, you might seriously think about that now.

I love the table extension! Wish I had room for a permanent one like that.

[Dorsal] Those butterflies are sooo cool!

jrbynum, congrats on finishing your build, looks like a nice setup you have there :) . Those circles look pretty round to me too.

Dennis, Those butterflies look really purdy. Have you decided where you're going to mount the servos yet? ;)

Congratulations on completing your Phlatprinter build! We recognized the dice right away. Our niece and nephews loved it and play with it when they come over.

Dorsal - those butterflies are awesome and the price of that airbrush kit is unbelievable.

jrbynum, adding pics to the customer showcase section on http://www.phlatboyz.com as well. Thank you for posting and sharing. The butterflies are going up as well :)
