    Hi Guyz,
Could someone please help me figure out a way to set the plunge tools depth, there is a box for percentage, but no way to access this with the enter key or by clicking in the box! Any help would be great!! :p

    Thanks
    John

    John,

The plunge tool doesn't support a cut depth. It just displays the text "100", which isn't associated with any real variable.

You can always change the plunge depth manually in the gcode. How many plunges do you have to cut?

Thanks Kwok, I am doing a code for a friend on his new plane design and these are reference points for carbon placement, there is probably 20 locations in need of a 50% plunge depth!!I also need to do the full plunge to another dozen points!! :p
    Thank you!

Just make some very tiny lines and use the centerline tool on them at 50% depth.

Good idea Shaun, I did think of this but was curious why we couldnt apply a depth drill point! This may be my only solution!!
    Thanks

Another idea would be to assign a group name to the ones you want the 50% depth to (entity info for the group) This name will show up in the code (easy to find) and make for a quick change of just those depths. :)
