Hey guyz. If you watched our LIVE show this week, you heard us announce a contest. This one is going to be fun! The idea is to design something practical to be cut out on the Phlatprinter 3. We will cut it out and build it live on our weekly live show. Then, we will incorporate the projects into our every day lives and live with them for 2 weeks. Each time we use one of the Phlatprinter Practical Projects, we'll log it here on the forum.

    So, what are the rules?
    1. The design should be based on one sheet of fan fold foam (we might end up using green guard). All parts of the design must be able to fit on one sheet.
    2. Please use tab and slot construction for ease of assembly and include build instructions.
    3. The Phlat Code and Sketch Up file should be emailed to phlatboyz@phlatboyz.com.
    4. All entries must be received by 11:59 PM EST on February 15th. We will cut them out and build them on our live show on Wednesday, February 16th. If time does not permit us to complete cutting and building them all in one show, we will continue to cut and build them on the following week.
    5. The design should assume the 1/8" stock Phlatprinter wil be used.

How will the winner be judged?
We will be judging on 3 criterias.
    1. How many times is the Practical Phlatprinter Project used in the two weeks we live with it? This is worth 25% of the score.
    2. Ease of use/Does the project work in the real world? This is 50% of the score.
    3. How much do we like using it? This is going to be based purely on our opinion of the project after we have lived with it for 2 weeks.

The winner will be announced on our LI'VE weekly Wednesday night show on March 2nd (or will be pushed back if we are unable to cut and build them all in one week).

    What is the prize?
The prize is a Phlatformer! If you already have a Phlatformer and don't have a need for a second one ;) we will substitute the prize for $200 Phlat Cash to be used on any item on our website, http://www.phlatboyz.com.

This contest is void where prohibited.
We reserve the right to cancel this contest with or without reason.
We reserve the right to refuse any entries to our sole discretion.
By entering this contest, you agree to hold Mark and Trish Carew and/or Phlatboyz, LLC harmless for any injuries and or damage to self or property that may arise out of the use or misuse of any of the products offered on our website, http://www.phlatboyz.com.
    No purchase necessary to enter.
Chances of winning the contest are based on the number of entries.
We reserve the right to update these rulez at any time by posting on this thread.

Thanks guyz. We are looking forward to seeing your creations and incorporating them not our every day lives!

I got a great idea, you don't even have to cut it out. Just a 1/4" sheet of FFF and use it as a carrier for that 3mm depron. I know you use it all the time :D.

Alright guyz. I just want to update this usage log :D I am still successfully using my Phlat Mouse Pad. It works well once I took the time to get all of the foam dust off of it.

Also, I got a paper towel from the paper towel holder this morning when I was making Mark breakfast. Very cool!!
