So this is just a plane that I've been tinkering around with... and it is AWESOME!!!!!!

I have been working on the sketchup files, but am trying to make it perfect... This is my first REAL model with G-Code, so It's coming a little slowly. It will be good, I promise! Release date is soon!

    So what this plane takes:
    1 sheet 6mm Depron
    1 1500kv BLue Wonder
    1 18 amp ESC
3 5 gram servos (4 if you want rudder, I have not experimented with that yet.)
    1 about 850mAh 3S LiPo
    Camera if wanted!

Wing span is 27 inches, I've stayed up for 15 minutes on the 850. It glides nicely, and could carry quite a load. We will know more about FPV Capabilities when my stuff arrives.... :girl_cray2:

*UPDATE* Getting closer on the sketchup file, going to format it for the foam I have, may be different than yours, so be sure to check it.

Working through this as I watch the SKetchup Basics DVD, so far, 5 out of 5 stars! Great job Crash on making it!

    Enjoy the videos.

I've been considering its bigger brother for a quick and dirty FPV plane.

    Nice job Nate!

It has a bigger brother? I have been wanting to make a giant EPP version of this, but can seeing some issues of weakness of where the tail booms connect to the wings.

For those of you that fly FPV, is it possible to fly from your PC via a video capture dongle? Or would a separate monitor like the little haier LCD be better? :questions:

    Thanks,

    ~ Nathan

    Plane looks good Nathan.

In the beginning I flew from my laptop. I used an ezcap for the video capture.

If you go to get an ezcap make sure its a genuine one. I've had problems with the one spelled easycap.

Here is the right type. http://www.ebay.com/sch/ezcap-tv/m.html

Ok, thanks Just browsed a little, I'm trying to keep it inexpensive, is there any difference between that one and this one? http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Ezcap-USB-2 ... 23137713e2

    Thanks,

    Nathan

I think Ezcap is out of the UK, I can across this:
Be warned. Sadly there are lots of fakes now made in China. To combat this, the manufacturer has had to change their trading name from Easycap to the trademarked name ezcap™ and radically redesigned their product. If you are offered an Easycap product, it is a fake. You get what you pay for. To read what we are constantly asked by persons who have purchased a copy..........

I would go with the original.

Exactly as lovebugjunkie stated. The one you posted is questionable. I'm pretty sure it is suppose to look like the one I posted instead of it being all black.
