It's been way to long since the last post in this section, So, here is the FS-6.24 fresh off the PhlatPrinter and ready to rumble. I ventured out and joined the local RC club. They have a very nice surface for electrics to use. This version has full landing gear with a steerable nose wheel. And, check out those air intakes. They're ready to suck in anything that gets in their way.

    The specs are:

    24" diameter
    Symetrical covered wing
    18 oz. AUW
    Himax 2808 1180 kv
    8x3 APC prop
    3 cell 1300 mah

Thanks Evil-Tunes! It seems like it's one of my best ones yet. I've got 5 flights on it and I'm pleased with it. I'm having a little trouble "hitting" the runway. I'm used to sliding into the grass.

Thanks Mark. ;) This one seems to look bigger than others, but, it has a 24" diameter disc. I used the same color scheme as the 45" one I did last fall.

LaVerne, your FS-6.24 is awesome looking! Like the new landing gear setup. It would be cool to see a video of the FS-6.24 in flight it's so different looking.
Man that runway looks nice, it that some of that fabric runway stuff? It looks nice and smooth. What club do you belong to?

Thanks Meistertek, and video will be coming. The runway is nice and it is the fabric stuff. It's also has some sponginess to it for those not so smooth landings. I belong to the Des Moines Modelaires club. They have 2 flying fields about 40 miles apart.

Thanks thunder hawk. I don't know if I'll post the sketchup file for this one as it requires the wing to be covered with Microlite covering. Not many in the forum like to do this. I will be updating the profile version of this one with the air scoops soon and will probably post it.
