I do not have that one, but you could make it pretty easy using the slicer plugin with SketchUp

    Shalom Yotam

Where did you find this picture? Maybe the place has also a picture of the parts and then it's easy to convert it to a SKP.

    It's over at Cardboard Safari.

Looks like they have some neat stuff over there, but no pics of the parts laid out.

kram242 the slicer plugin is very limited.
it would never ever be able to slice such a complex form.
i have so many great pdf's with great slice-forms models,
however i find it almost impossible to transform it into skp.
i attached some of them, maybe you guys will find it useful. Attached files [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

    These are great yotamkaufman

As for the slicer not being able to do this, I made this viewtopic.php?f=191&t=66#p164 using the slicer to slice a 3d model of a deer head and then working on the parts. It does not do all the work for you but it does get you a good start.
Thank you for sharing these PDFs they can be converted to DXF using these programs here.
    viewtopic.php?f=220&t=1684&start=0
BTW these are great! If you have more please post! :)
    Thank you

Yotam, I've tried to convert it to dxf but it doesn't work. I think the reason is that the pdf file is not a true pdf but a picture made into pdf and that is not possible to convert to dxf.

I find it easy, albeit very time consuming, to convert from your files to skp. I may take the challenge on one but for sure not of all of them.

BTW, can you post the one for the rhino head? For that matter, can you post what-ever you have? Like you did above, a picture and the file, so that you know before you download what it is and if you like it.

All of these files will need major clean-up unless you convert them to a graphic, import them to SU and trace each piece, which would indeed be very time consuming.

I just used a pdf to dxf converter and I agree, it came out pretty rough but hopefully it is better than starting from scratch.

It should be pretty cool when you get it done.

What program did you use to convert? I tried it and the file that came out was not readable.

Been working on the cat one, wow, it's way too much work to trace each part out and get the size of the slots correct.

    nice job Jnida63!!!!
try the penguin i think he is the easiest.
my method is to trace the whole piece (no. by no.) and then cut out the needed slots.
    its much faster that way.
by the way let me know when you finish the cat im so exited about it.

I'm almost finished with the penguin. Only a few parts left. Made it for 1/4" foam.
