My driver board did light up prior to the final installation. Now I can not get power to the board. Have reset the power leads on the board several times still no LED's. Have any ideas on what I did to it and how to fix it?

If you have a voltage/multimeter, check your 2 leads coming from the power supply that hook to the board, to make sure you are getting power to the board. Set your meter to read DC voltage.

If voltage is OK, set your meter to Ohms and check your fuses on the board for continuity, if fuses are OK your meter should read 0 (zero) or very close to it, depending on your meter setting. Check the fuses with all power off.

If power and fuses OK, disconnect everything from board except power supply and check for lights.

If lights OK reconnect stepper motors one at a time and re-check for lights.

    Whew... :D Report back.

I know this sounds really daft but check your polarity "Plus to Plus" and "Minus to Minus".

OK Power while the leads are not in the board is good. All three fuses read zero. Positive on the left, looking at the board installed in the machine, and negative on the right. But I get zero volts across the screw heads when testing the leads installed.

Even if it's embarrassing, what was the problem? Just as a reference for others who might run into the same problem.
