Was working on some FPV antenna frames and I wanted to etch what they are. Is it possible to etch text and cut the item out at the same time using the Phlat tools? If so - How do you?

    Thanks in Advance
    Jeff

Yes. Use the centerline tool for the text. Don't forget to tell it how deep you want it to go.

This maybe helpful as well Jeff

I usually draw a single line in the center of my letters and apply a center line depth cut like Shaun mentioned above. Or you can use the offset tool to bring the lines in to the center(do not overlap them) to help make a set of lines ready to be marked up with the center-line tool. Its not perfect and there will be clean up work and redesign to get it the way you want but it can be done and really speeds up once you know how you want it to look.
