Here's the Trex I did a while ago. I went in to fix the teeth. Didn't do to good of a job IMO  but its better than it was. One thing I didn't figure out was the messy gcode produced for the head. So it will take a little longer to cut.
The origin in SU is messed up but the code is fine. Attached files [IMG] Trex.zip (801.8 KB)Â

Thanks Mark, I was a high density single side PCB designer back in the day. This stuff is close to the same, just without the continuity restraints :D I'll do some more dino's soon, first I need to finish a Zenoya wing. (Alsomitra macrocarpa)

These are the critters I have in dfx and was thinking about converting. I've noticed you have a few and would hate to dup work so I'll figure it out with whats been listed and go from there.

Those dxf's could be posted in the dxf thread, and maybe some of us could help with the converting workload...

    Some sound interesting.

I'll post the one that are not in Marks big collection. I have a feeling that he has what I have, or vise versa.

Sounds good 66tbird, you know you 2 guys gave me the idea of posting mine.
I have all these dxfs that you guys could be going through and finding dxf's you would like to convert and go for it.
I think this will help the Free plans section grow as well.

Anyone have the T-Rex file to re-upload? I've PM'd 66Tbird - but I'm not sure how often he's on here. The kids loved putting together the pteranadon and Nessie, and now my son wants to do a T-rex.

Actually, all of those that are posted upthread would be cool. Even if they are in dxf, I can convert them over.

Since you've asked so nicely, here is a file that has the T-Rex and an Ant.

BTW, if you google '3d puzzle' you'll find many sites that have .dxf files, or image files, with all kind of things. I did that and that's how I got to the two puzzles in the file.

Wow. That is one fully utilized piece of foam!

Thanks for posting that up! I'll get some pics when we get them assembled.
