It didn't make any difference at all on my machine, which is not too surprising.
After all, getting a valid Firefox plugin from Micro$oft is like asking a Chevy dealer to help fix your Toyota.

That bites Dennis. I looked and saw others who made comments at that site have the same problems as you. The worst part is no one had a solution to fix the problem.

I know before the plugin I was not able to view the videos, and it works fine on my machine.

I'm running Firefox 3.6.3, Windows media player 11, and Windows XP SP3.

I don't really need this, as I prefer to download my videos. But I had tried to install this before a while back, when I had winxp sp2 and 1or2 versions back from wmp11. Didn't work at that time. Couldn't play with IE6 either. But I reinstalled my os recently. Now have the same specs as 3DMON posted above. And IE8 will play the embedded wmv. Thought I give this plugin a try to see if it would work now, but it still doesn't work in Firefox. It does try. With the plugin installed, it now saids "ready" on the lower left corner. When I hit the play button, it saids "connecting", but then nothing. I rebooted, but still the same. Wonder why it works for some and not others?
