I got a couple of cool gifts this year, but none were RC-related.

I got a cool new clock radio that allows me to charge and wake up to my iPod or iPhone. Also got the newest expansion pack for World of Warcraft from my son. I got a couple of other things, too, but not really worth mentioning.. :)

The important thing is that the kiddoes got EVERYTHING on their lists! It still looks like a ToysRUs store blew up in my livingroom! Santa brought my 7yo daughter the RC "Spike The Dinosaur" and I've been playing with it quite a bit - it's so cool!

Come on, guys! Chime in with what all kinds of loot you guys received!!

I got a graphics tablet for sketchup.

The one I got isn't really that great...it had a bad delay for cursor movement. I sent it back today and reordered a better one.
I found that the "rps" or report rate is what determines this. The one I just sent back had 125 and the one thats coming is 200. Attached files [IMG]

Well, What I didn't get was after shave, soap or socks. ( They finally listened )

In fact, I asked to boys and the wife not to buy anything for me this year as I have gotten my Christmas early. IE, PhlatPrinter, numerous planes and a new transmitter.

The boys actually did as I asked ( For once ) :D

The wife on the other decided I had to have something so she got me some warm up suits being I am running again to get ready for the police academy. ( at 47 no less )

As to the boys, The oldest got clothes and an MP3 player, The youngest got a 125 cc four wheeler, a few Xbox games and some other small toys that he had asked for.

Wife got what she asked for. ( ok, well almost everything. The trip to the south pacific will have to be post phoned for the moment )

All in all, not a bad year.

My GF got jewelry, gardening stuff, path lighting (we needed that bad) and a Romba vacuum thing. I gave out three laptops, (sister, mom, charity) and did all the setup for them. I have no children so I got off easy there. I received a gold watch and ring (my fathers retirement items) and a 1877/7 trade dollar in MS (A rare overdate in that grade). and lastly I got all my girlfriend's dead bothers tools. Three large roll arounds, little dated (dwell meters and such) but still quite a load.

Yea it was a good xmas! :D
