What material is used to pull air through?

    Subject tells it all, just curious what is used that allow the vacuum to suck through the egg crate surface, noticed it's sealed at the edges.

    I'm looking to make rock molds so I can make my own concrete rocks!

    That sounds great Mick! I would love to see these.
    To answer the question the vacuum surface of the Phlatformer is made in a waffle pattern with holes recessed in the channels that allow the air to pull from virtually any direction.

    Thank you Mick, but I can not take the credit for that one. Its the same way that a lot of the large cnc machines hold their parts to the table. I thought if it works for that it should work for what we need it for, and sure enough :D
