When I try to make a model of a simple cube 5x5x.25" I get a pocket in EMC2 instead of a cube. Must be my parameters in Sketchucam?? Please point me in the right direction

    Thanks

Tried the Phlat edge tech. no help same output. If I was making a mold it would be perfect' Here's what I do

    set parms for sketchucam
    draw block within boundaries
    generate 3d code

gcode cuts a pocket instead of a block

    tried selecting all faces/lines
tried selecting all but the bootom of the block - thought this would work, might try again
    no selection

all with the same result. must be drawing it wrong. tired SU7 and SU8

Paul, post the file and we'll have a look at it and see what the problem may be.

Sometimes the 'normal' of the surface polygon is backward and this causes the g-code to be NG.
