John, I don't think that the postal code will tell you anything since he wants it shipped internationally, so I guess he doesn't live in the US which is why I didn't offer him to cut it.

Hi Yoram, Thats what I thought, I was wondering what it would cost to ship overseas. I know alot of company's dont ship because of high prices on oversized shipments and the damage that is likely to occur. I know we are all willing to help but there is always more trouble when shipping foam international! Maybe we could estimate shipping cost via USPS Express or priority so it can be insured? Just a thought but we need more info from Ben!
    Thanks
    John

    Hi Guys

Thanks for looking into this for me.

Yes i do live over sea's I am a British expat currently working in Qatar in the Middle East.

However i use forwarding service based in New York so shipping will be within the US.

As long as the packaging is good and clearly marked Fragile do not bend, and all corners and edges are protected well etc it shouldnt be too big an issue.

The Zip code i use is NY 11413

If anyone is still willing to help
    please let me know

    Thanks again

    Ben

    Hi Mark

I see that on the first page of this thread you have alink to a video showing the build of a Divinity II wing but the link is missing or broken.

Any chance you could point me in the right direction to watch the Vid?

    Cheers

    Ben

    Hi Ben,
I see that its missing now and after looking into this it seems that Ustream is deleting a lot of the older streams to clean house! :twitch:
This means that a lot of the older PhlatLAB's have been deleted too!
Oh well I guess we will just have to make new ones :D
Sorry about that Ben, but it build really easy you can just look at the pics and that should help.

Just wanted to say that both sets of parts from John and Al arrived yesterday at the same time!

Both were packed very well with only minor damage to one set but nothing serious.
Im not surprised the distance they have traveled.

Will keep you guys posted on progress when i start to build them which will be at the weekend hopefully.

    Thanks again

    Ben

    Hi Guys

Just wanted to show you the progress i have made

I did in tend on taking more pictures during the build but kinda forgot!

She is almost finished now and will hopefully maiden this coming weekend.

Power system is a Emax CF2822 1200kv motor with 8x4 prop
    18amp RC timer ESC
    2200mah lipo
    2x 9g servos

I added a foam "Skeg"? along the bottom to give you something to hold onto for launching and also to act as a sort of landing gear as my flying field is very abrasive!!

Thanks again for all your help you guys Rock!

Oh and did you hear that Crash read out my letter to him about my experience here on the Phlat Forum, on the Crash Cast?

Check out episode 156 Pain and Suffering.

    Cheers
    Ben
