Hey guys here is a cool little light mod I did today to the MKII
Trish and I went on the Black Friday crazy sale adventure at 4:00 am this morning, and I picked up one of these little gems from Sears. Its a 60 LED work light for 15 bucks!
I took the covers off and added Velcro to keep it in place. It plugs into the power strip of the MKII and comes on when the Phlatprinter is turned on.
Now I no longer have the glare from the over head light on the windshield. I can see the bit in action doing its thing
My only regret is that I wish that it was longer so that the light covered the entire of the cutting surface. Once nice feature is that I can always move it from left to right with more Velcro.
I only had little strips of Velcro but I would have liked to add a strip longways on the top of the light and the receiving strip across the entire length of the hood inside. So that I could move it around when needed. I will do this when I get more Velcro in.
