In the second photo, my friend Bentão (a gentleman of 71 years who helped me in this project)

If all goes well, next week I will do some test cutting, hopefully post a video soon.

Did you do the design in SketchUp? I like the way you made up the Y gantry sides. Looks like it would be strong and easy to make with a break.
Once again nice job guyz, this is going to be nice

I did not design, in my original design side of the portico would be aluminum, as aluminum is not found in the supplier, made with folded plate 3/16 "

    measures: # 3/16 "x 100mm (top) x 400mm (height) x 250mm (base) x 35mm (fold)

The weight of the sheet was approximately as would be with aluminum.

The folded sheet, is domed, is necessary to beat, to obtain surface is flat

    hugs...

Marco, looks great. I see you don't have a vacuum attachment. Are you planing on having one?

Vacuum does not exist. Yes I'm interested!
I never studied this subject, and I do not know how it would be implemented, you could make any suggestions.

    Thank you.

The gcode photo was made with "Bmp2Cnc":
    http://www.mr-soft.net/en/bmp2cnc.html

The gcode inscription was made with "Sketchup / Phalatscript":

The control was done with Mach3

    ---------------

On this machine I used the driver unipolar CNC3AX (modified to fets IRF640)
    viewtopic.php?f=257&t=2225

In stepper motors, 36v (The driver supports up to "80v" x 5A)
    In the logic, 12v

    hugs.

I have Bmp2Cnc, but have not used it in a while. I need to get it running and try a few of these photo carvings myself. They look super cool
You guyz did a great job on this build.

Marco, do a search of 'dust shoe' or 'dustshoe'. Do it on this forum, on CNCZone.com, and google general and you'll get lots of hits about how to do a vacuum attachment.

    Thanks for the tip ...

Sorry, how to use online translator, things are not always with clear meaning; I thought you meant the vacuum table.

The vacuum cleaner (dust shoe) I know, and I've used on other machines.

    Hugs

One way is to use a ShopVac or ShopVac motor and then build a portable vacuum table which you can put on and take off of your machine. I have several portable tables that I use for different jobs all of which I use a ShopVac for the Vac source. Here are a couple of photos of on I just completed to cut foam airplanes.

Thanks Mark. It works great and sure beats the old way of holding the foam down with double face tape.
