quoted from the help (big blue question mark on toolbar)
"Reorder Groups Tool - Redorder groups to change cut order
Grouped cuts will be cut first, in the order they were grouped. However, in order to edit a group it has to be exploded. Grouping it again affects the cut order.
To reorder groups select this tool and then simply click on each group in the order you want them cut."

to expand a little on that.... you won't SEE anything except a brief flicker as the group is highlighted and then released.
You can use the Tools|Phlatboyz|Groups Summary menu item to see the current group ordering.

Ok I fingered out how to look at the order but i'm still having any problem's with the grouping.
it says to exploded. is the per part or for the entire or drawing say I got 4 boxes and I need it to cut from the last box to the first one. do you have to do something to each part to make it work?

let's start again with a fresh file.....
    1. draw some stuff
    2. add cut lines
    3. create groups, say 3 groups (give them names in 'entity info')
    4. now select the Group Reorder tool from the Sketchucam toolbar (icon with 1.2.3 numbers on it)
    5. and then
    6. click each group in the order you want them cut.
done! check the order with the group summary and then generate Gcode.
