    rcav8r,

It has been a real paint to try to figure this one out, and I am glad you posted this because I could not find any reason for it.
There is a new version of phpbb3 out now and I need to update I am just a little afraid to do it just yet until I hear that everything is going fine with other people.
I have another test forum that I try stuff(mods) out on so I think I will update it there first and it may well take care of some of these problems.
BTW I back up all the time :D just to be sure. I am sure I over backup to be honest but I am new to all this and I just feel terrible when I lose post that people have spent so much time on creating.
Mark (going to back up again now) :D

Thanks 3DMON, looks like I am going to have to bite the bullet and go with the upgrade on the phpbb3. I will read more into what has been fixed with this new release.

Alright I've remembered now how to fix this problem... ;)

    Drum roll...

Basically http://www.phlatforum.com and http://phlatforum.com are not the same thing to phpbb even though most of the internet works that way. (note the lack of the "www")

So what needs to be done is REDIRECT users from http://www. to just plain http://phlatforum.com, or change the cookie maker again to include the www (and that may not work, as I think the offical site is likely just plain http://phlatforum.com)

And you can test this out by manually typing those addys into your browser, http://phlatforum.com remembers everything.
