I finished some preproduction kits that made last week all were sold to the guys at the field. It took some time to streamline the production process. The kits are turning out beautiful. Yesterday my demo plane got destroyed.by the hands of a new pilot. Not a real loss as it was pretty beat up anyways.

These are photos of the replacement demo plane. Attached files [IMG] [IMG]

Thanks! Right now I can produce about eight kits a day. Hot-wiring the wings including cutting the ailerons takes the most time. I made a few fixtures to speed production and also to maintain accuracy. I try to make the kit as complete as possible. Things like pre-beveling the control surfaces and performing the landing gear adds a little time on my end but greatly reduces the builders time. In reality the kit can be built in the time it takes to assemble the typical ARF plane.

    Thanks Mark.

I'm a little late for the flying season, but making a good plane takes time. I am working on an indoor 3d plane and also thinking about scaling the Skywagon down to a more indoor friendly size.
The Platprinter is humming along nicely.
