    It does need some work but runs really good .

    Good luck with it ewo.. vw's are great and cheap to work on. Theres a good Site called "thesamba" lots of teck. info and hard to find parts.     Thanks for the links ET ! Your Vw looks amazing . ;) So far im loving my new Buy ,,,,,
    I have started some of the more minor repairs and will be getting into a serious rebuild of the bike this fall .
    Here is one i found online that has been fully restored . Its for sale for $15,000. Mine is going to be Black and Burgendy when im done :) dreaming.jpg

    Got my motor back from the shop last weekend . It has been totally rebuilt from top to bottom.
    everything is new........ crank,cam, rods, pistons, heads. Its a brand new motor ! :)

    Also started with the wiring up grade and lighting. Ripped every wire out of this thing and am rewiring from scratch . Every single light and wire will be new ...........When im done ........ Also started boby work !!

    Im pretty sure i know how to wire the generator - regulator . but i want to be sure 100%
    I dont want to fry nothing
    would you be able to help ya think ??

    I also found a HUGE gob of silicone...........on the tranny pan
    I think the last owner tried to fix a small leak :D

    I spent the weekend figuring out the wiring ........I hope to be able to put the Body back on in a couple weeks and go for a test ride :)
    anyways , Here's a picture of the wiring mess i ripped out .
    I just couldnt deal with trying to figure that mess out . So i started all over from scratch ! :D

    Hello Guy's
    My Trike is all most done .I Got to Thinking as much as Sharon and i like to ride
    I went out and found a used 700 Honda Magna . I rode it home no Problem ........
    The problem came when i got it home ...........
    I Promptly found out i couldnt hold it up after turning into the drive and DUMPED it :nailbiting:
    My Back is shot and my left hip has no power anymore That's the reason for the trike

    2 days after buying the Honda the wife found this ............
    Yamaha Virago 1100 gold edition .......... With a Trike Kit already installed ready to ride :D .
    We bought it last Thursday ...........
    Now we have something we can ride while i finish my VW Trike :good:
    The Bike is Sharon's ..........Now when I finish my Trike we can ride togeather on one bike , or both bikes seperatly.......
