The Phlatwing

    It only took 6 weeks, but I think the "Phlatwing" is ready for public review. It isn't perfect, so improvements are encouraged.

    Way to go Crash5050. Nice design, straight to the point and well done. Only suggestion is to shorten the side notch depth for the winglets. Looks a little to deep to receive, assuming 6mm or FFF for the foam unless you are sandwiching 2 winglets together for each side.

    Good job, things will get easier as you go along.
    You may also want to note the upper right triangular piece doesn't have a cut line applied to it.

    Cool design. Never considered tabs on the wing tips like that. Looks fast!

    I really like it but I would move the servos and horns more out towards the middle of the Elevons, Being on the small part and inside will give you huge deflection unless they are made of balsa (don't ask me how I found out :roll: )
    If it is made to just fly slow then I wouldn't worry too much about it, but there is nothing like high speed flutter to ruin your day.
