I am not sure where to ask this question , but I feel it has something to do with the phlatscript.
In Sketchup 7 when I import or draw some stuff sometimes the edges of objects are no longer black,
but have a gray or light color. When I go to Model Info than to Staticstics click on Fix Problems, I get this:
    Results of Validity Check.
The edge color mode for CRenderingOptions (11) is not valid - fixed

The reason I feel it has to do with the script, it started to happen after I installed the script.
Rember with the old version of the script you had to save the file and open it back up to see the colors of the toolpath lines.

I use sketchup at work, and this problem just bugs me to death, has anyone seen this error, and how to fix it.

I've seen it too with ver 7 but I had it before I installed the script. I even get weird geometry that suddenly appears.....

I haven't seen anything goofy like that, and I have the latest updates and plugins.

I have seen something similar. Not sure if it is the same. My black lines turn to dotted lines and sometimes, it gets into a situation where you cannot select anything. At that point, saving the file results is a crash and you loose all your work.

I figure that the software is free so I can't complain too much....I just save a lot.

If you ever do lose all your work you can open the .skb file. It retains the majority of your work as abackup file. I had to do this once with SU 6.

I have it set to 'auto back up' every three minutes.

I have this prob from time to time. Although not a permanent fix this does seem to correct the problem for the current session that I am working on...

Go to "Window", "Styles" select "Edit" tab and select the "Edge" icon, the first one in the row of icons, then at the bottom of the dialog window where it says "All same" hit the drop down box and select "All same" again and hit "Enter" on the keyboard to close the dialog box.

It doesn't take as long as it sounds once you've done a couple times.

There should be somewhere to set this to default but I really haven't looked yet.

    Hope this helps.
